Cobra Technologies Announces Cobra Q-Scan 1.0
Scan Directly to IBM Lotus Quickr
Cobra Technologies announced today Cobra Q-Scan 1.0 - the latest addition to it's Lotus Domino scanning product line. Q-Scan introduces support for intelligent scanning to IBM Lotus Quickr - the team collaboration and content sharing platform from IBM/Lotus.
Q-Scan provides a simple Lotus Notes based interface for creating scanning rules to logically route scanned image files into custom Quickr places built with IBM Lotus Quickr for Domino. Using a variety of scanners including HP, Ricoh and Xerox - users can scan a document and enter any searchable index fields (meta-data) directly at the point-of-scan. Q-Scan delivers a full-text searchable PDF file directly into Quickr - along with custom index data for keyword searching.
Q-Scan is available as an add-on to our existing scan to Domino solution - including Cobra Image Router (CIR). Q-Scan will ship with the upcoming new release of CIR v5.5 - and is available free-of-charge to existing maintenance customers.
