Cobra Technologies Announces Cobra Q-Scan™

Orlando, FL, January 17, 2010 - Cobra Technologies today announced the release of Cobra Q-Scan, the market leading scanning solution for IBM Lotus Quickr for Domino. Q-Scan introduces support for intelligent scanning to Quickr - the IBM/Lotus team collaboration and content sharing platform.
Q-Scan provides a Lotus Notes based interface for creating scanning rules to logically route scanned image files into custom Quickr places built with IBM Lotus Quickr for Domino v8.2 (or higher). Using a variety of scanners including HP, Ricoh and Xerox - users can scan a document and enter any searchable index fields (meta-data) directly at the point-of-scan. Q-Scan delivers a full-text searchable PDF file directly into Quickr - along with custom index data for keyword searching.
Q-Scan 1.0 is available as an add-on to our existing 'scan to Domino' solutions - including Cobra Image Router (CIR), Cobra Image Manager (CIM) and DocImport. Q-Scan will ship with the upcoming releases of CIR v5.5 and CIM v3.0 - and is available free-of-charge to existing maintenance customers.
