Cobra Image Router (CIR) for Ricoh communicates with numerous Ricoh Multifunctional devices, via GlobalScan document scanning and routing software, to intelligently route scanned images into the Lotus Notes and Domino environment. CIR routing destinations are easily configured using a Lotus Notes user interface, and include; a Domino.Doc binder, any Lotus Notes database, Lotus Notes and Internet email addresses, websites based on Domino, and fax gateways. A user simply selects a destination from the control panel of the multifunction device, and with a touch of a button, paper documents are transformed to digital information and delivered to the Lotus environment.

CIR Ricoh v5.0 provides support for Windows 2003 and IBM Lotus Domino 7 platforms, as well as numerous Ricoh Group devices from Gestetner, Lanier, Nashuatec, Rex-Rotary and Savin.
