docsearch

DocSearch is a Domino based search portal that performs field level searches across an entire Domino Document Manager library infrastructure. Rather than conducting a Domino Document Manager full text search, DocSearch defines the search at the field level, isolating only the files needed. This change results in drastically reduced search times.

DocSearch features

  • Searches can be performed from a web browser or a Lotus Notes Client.

  • New multi-thread Java Synchronizer agent.
  • Now supports Mac from an Internet Explorer browser.
  • Attachments can be launched directly from the search results screen.
  • Driven via a Lotus Notes interface.
  • Search returns expanded to 250 documents per set.
  • Returned sets are automatically sorted by title.
  • More detailed searches by draft, version or date range.
  • In-depth help features part of the web UI.
  • Enhanced security restricts users to only “see” authorized documents in their search results.
